Additional Services & Benefits

Escheated Property

Each state in the U.S. has laws governing unclaimed property, which require organizations to report and remit any unclaimed assets to the state after a specified period of inactivity. Unclaimed property can include items such as abandoned bank accounts, uncashed checks, and insurance benefits. Once reported, the state holds the property until the rightful owner claims it, providing a mechanism to protect consumers and ensure that unclaimed assets are not lost.

Every 3-5 years, we review your state’s unclaimed property listings to identify any assets that may have been reported in your name. If we find any, we will assist you in the claims process.
