Christian started his career in the Scottsdale office of The Vanguard Group, the largest mutual fund manager in the world. While there he guided self-directed investors on all things equities trading and retirement planning, and taught classes for newly registered representatives. He then became an advisor for top-rated Phoenix-based MRA Associates (now CAPTRUST). Working in three-person advisory teams, he was responsible for the management of $230M and performed considerable tax compliance and estate planning work. Feeling the pull to come back home, Christian and his family moved back to Idaho in 2017 to start what would become Snake River Investment Counsel.

Christian works with a wide variety of clients ranging from those who have just entered their career to those who are well into retirement. He provides holistic advice tailored to the needs of each client covering the disciplines of portfolio management, tax planning, asset protection, estate planning, risk management, and business succession.

Christian married his college sweetheart and has four children. He enjoys spending time with his family, fishing, and being in the great outdoors.

Scott began his career here in Idaho Falls working for Cornerstone Financial Advisors. During that time, he developed valuable client operations expertise and gained considerable experience in managing client assets and implementing financial plans. Scott then held a position with a fortune 500 advisory firm that further developed his skills in financial planning before joining Snake River investment Counsel.

Scott primarily supports a wide variety of clients ranging from those who have only just entered their careers to those who are well into retirement. He provides client support covering the disciplines of portfolio management, tax planning, asset protection, estate planning, risk management, and business planning.

Scott met the love of his life while working over a summer at Redfish Lake in Stanley, Idaho. They married and have a beautiful baby girl. Scott enjoys prioritizing time with his family while also getting outside to hike, mountaineer, camp, and fish as much as possible.
